It appears with each successive administration, <em>We the People <\/em>lose more personal freedoms supposedly protected by our Constitution.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To make matters worse, our Congress apparently can&#8217;t agree on anything these days seemingly only\u00a0concerned about the next election cycle. They can&#8217;t pass a budget, can&#8217;t cut spending, can&#8217;t pass a resolution on our engagement in Libya,\u00a0 and seem happy to shirk their responsibilities and hand it over\u00a0to our President.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Today we are screened or frisked to board a commercial airplane, and need a U.S. passport to return from Canada all the\u00a0while illegals are crossing our southern border, which the politicians refuse to close.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The so-called &#8220;greatest generation&#8221; would have a collective stroke seeing what our country has become today: a country that can not, or is unwilling to make, the tough decisions necessary for\u00a0the prosperity of our country, our children and grandchildren.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Roger Young &#8211; co-editor<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I can&#8217;t speak for others, but I am one frustrated American.
