Nidal Hasan killed 13 of his fellow soldiers at Ft. Hood<\/a> in what appears to be cold-blooded premeditation.\u00a0He is still awaiting trial and even today we know very little about his background. Bales<\/a> &#8211; 21 Mar 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I certainly don&#8217;t condone Bales&#8217; reported despicable actions in Afghanistan, but why the double-standard by both our civilian and military leadership? They downplay the actions by Maj. Hasan while almost daily, report more information on the background of SSG\u00a0Bales and his family.\u00a0This old soldier would like to know why Maj.
