Last winter we installed new <em>PacAloy<\/em> valve springs and he is currently working on replacing his roller lifters with a new set of <em>Isky Red-Zone Endurance lifters<\/em> to extend the life of his 406 SBC engine. He will also need to re-certify his driver restraints, wants to replace his slicks and will need to purchase a new helmet for the 2022 season. He&#8217;s also working on getting some weight off the back of the car.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>We&#8217;re looking forward to seeing the Wagon back out at the track!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Update March 15, 2022<\/span>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Chris has the new lifters in the motor, new 9310 4.86 gears in the rear, new &amp; smaller\/lighter fuel cell in the back and nearly ready for 2022!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>His 4.71 rear gears had 300 runs on them since we set them up!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Update March 27, 2022<\/span>:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Today Chris fired up the wagon and set the ignition timing, next stop the track.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8217;57 Chev:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>If we decide to run the &#8217;57 in 2022, I&#8217;ll need to re-certify the belts and inspect the left rear axle for spline twist after our runs in 2021. This fall we took both static and centrifugal pressure out of our <em>Ram<\/em> clutch.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Update<\/span>: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>On January 30, 2022 Jamie Roth announced due to Covid requirements at the border, all <em>B.C. Supershifters<\/em> events were going to be held at Mission Raceway&#8217;s in 2022 which makes sense.
