Current density\u00a0altitude is 5250 feet.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>4:45 PM PDT:\u00a0Paul made it through Tech Inspection and will get one time run tomorrow morning and then enter the Gambler Race. \u00a0Now it&#8217;s time to settle in to their hotel and get some dinner!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Friday,\u00a02 September 2011<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>8:00 AM PDT: Paul&#8217;s in the staging lanes ready to make his first time run!\u00a0 I&#8217;m curious to see what the Pontiac runs at the higher altitude. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>8:17 AM PDT: The Pontiac ran well recording\u00a0a 12.78 @ 105.58 MPH at a density atitude of\u00a04083 feet. His next run will be in the 1st round of the <em>Gambler<\/em> race in the non-electronics category.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>12:22 PM PDT: In the 1st round of the <em>Gambler<\/em> race, as the temperatures and density altitude were rising, Paul <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">won<\/span> running a 12.935 @ 101.13 MPH <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">on the brakes<\/span>. He cut an excellent .018 light.\u00a0Density altitude was 4779 feet. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>3:31 PM\u00a0PDT:\u00a0Paul just\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">won<\/span> the 2nd round, running a 12.913<strong>\u00a0on a 12.91 dial-in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">on the brakes<\/span>\u00a0at only 100.37 MPH! Density altitude was 4766 feet.\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>4:41 PM PDT: Just called to the lanes for the 3rd round with a 12.89 dial-in.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>4:52 PM PDT: Paul just <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">won<\/span> the 3rd round running a 12.884 on a 12.89 dial at 104.17 MPH.\u00a0Density altitude was 4696 feet. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>5:41 PM PDT: Paul just <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">won<\/span> the 4th round running a 12.872 on a 12.87 dial-in at 104.22 MPH. Density altitude was 4531 feet.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>6:10 PM PDT: Paul just <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">won<\/span> the 5th round on a double breakout running a 12.854 on a 12.86 dial-in at 104.28 MPH. Density altitude was 3812 feet.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>10:36 AM PDT:\u00a0Paul&#8217;s off to a great start, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">winning<\/span> the first round of the <em>Race of Champions<\/em>\u00a0in <em>Sportsman<\/em> running a 12.800 on a 12.76 dial-in lifting off the throttle at 104.60 MPH. Density altitude was 4106 feet.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>2:41 PM PDT: Paul just <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">won<\/span> the 2nd round in a double breakout run recording a 12.845 on a 12.91 dial-in\u00a0at 104.80 MPH. Density altitude was 4508 feet. Next round is the semi-finals!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><strong>5:41 PM PDT:\u00a0Paul <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">lost<\/span> in the semi-final round\u00a0when he went\u00a0just a tad too\u00a0quick running a 12.808 on a 12.81 dial-in.\u00a0at 105.11 MPH losing to Mark Faul. Jody Lang wins Super Stock at Pomona<\/a> &#8211; <em>Pacific Raceways<\/em> &#8211; November 15, 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">(POMONA, CA) \u2013 Super Pro driver Dale Green, representing Pacific Raceways, wheeled his DG Machine Mullis dragster to a semi-final finish at the Summit Racing Series National Championships Sunday (Nov. 13). \u00a0The race was held in conjunction with the 47<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Green, who resides in Kent and owns DG Machine in Auburn, drew a first round bye and was nipped in the semi-final round by eventual champ Mark Horton representing South Georgia Motorsports Park.\u00a0 Both drivers left with nearly identical reaction times and Horton\u2019s margin of victory was 0.0122 seconds.\u00a0 Green ran a 7.243 on a 7.22 dial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Former Pacific Raceways bracket champion and Tacoma resident Mark Faul, running for MHDRA Dragstrip in Medicine Hat, Alberta, was the Summit Sportsman runner-up.\u00a0 Faul lost a double-breakout final in his 1951 Chevy to Edmond Richardson.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Another former Pacific Raceways bracket champion, Jody Lang of Puyallup, powered his Chevrolet Malibu to the Super Stock win at Pomona. \u00a0Former Maple Valley resident Brad Plourd was the Stock Eliminator runner-up. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Lang finished the season ninth in the nation in Super Stock points and second in Stock Eliminator points.\u00a0 Faul finished the season 12<sup>th<\/sup> in Super Stock points and 15<sup>th<\/sup> in Stock Eliminator points.\u00a0 Former track champion Toby Lang, of Auburn, ended the year 11<sup>th<\/sup> in Stock points, one spot ahead of Pacific Raceway\u2019s Brad Burton and his hard-charging Pontiac. \u00a0Dallas Glenn, of Covington, wound up 23<sup>rd<\/sup> in the Stock final standings driving the Dr. Injector Corvette.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1 Sept 2011: Paul being the Pacific Raceways Sportsman Track Champion for 2011 is currently on his way to Firebird Raceways in Boise, Idaho for the team finals being held from September 1st &#8211;
