{"id":3398,"date":"2013-06-06T06:29:37","date_gmt":"2013-06-06T14:29:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/northwestvets.com\/blog2\/?p=3398"},"modified":"2013-06-22T08:16:17","modified_gmt":"2013-06-22T16:16:17","slug":"57-test-tune-june-5th-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/northwestvets.com\/blog2\/2013\/06\/06\/57-test-tune-june-5th-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8217;57 Test &#038; Tune &#8211; June 5th 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This evening\u00a0we headed out to <em>Pacific Raceways<\/em> to get the chassis sorted out on the &#8217;57 for the upcoming <strong>Nostalgia Race on July 13th &amp; 14th.<\/strong> The goal was <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>not<\/strong><\/span> for maximum performance but for a good combination that would work in the heat and give me some practice time behind the wheel. The Wednesday test &amp; tune in the heat gave us the opportunity to put some hits on the car and make adjustments\u00a0which is difficult on a race day.<\/p>\n<p>We opened with a 10.845 @ 124 mph @ 81-degrees and a density altitude of 2114 feet. We&#8217;re happy with these results.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My thanks to my crew chief, Chris Young,\u00a0Justin Jung &amp; Paul Young\u00a0for making this testing possible and a success. I believe we are in good shape for the upcoming Wild West Nostalgia Race.
