If the rumors are correct, all the track personnel that were at Pacific Raceways<\/em> in 2010 are gone! What is it with Pacific<\/em> that every couple of years a crew which has started to gel and has earned the respect of\u00a0most of the local\u00a0racers\u00a0is suddenly gone to start the entire process all over again?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Could it be the ownership?\u00a0 Here’s a local news story of interest that does not appear on Pacific Raceways<\/em> site:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In my opinion, it is time for the ownership of PR to start leveling with the local racers that support them and provide stable management<\/span> that we know will be running the track from year to year! – Roger Young<\/strong><\/p>\n

Update 25 Apr 2011<\/span>:\u00a0 At the opening race on April 23, the reports are that most of the track personnel at PR have returned and they ran a good race under the watchful eyes of the new dragstrip manager!\u00a0 That’s good news!\u00a0 They were also very quick to update their website with the results, points, and even reported the results to the Seattle Times. It has been many years since such results were posted in our MSM.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tech is now back in the staging lanes with registration nearby!\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
