Plus we have <em>Wilwood<\/em> front disc brakes to install on Torri&#8217;s Pontiac. And we&#8217;ll need to work around the upcoming move of Chris, Torri &amp; Peyten to their new homestead in Kent but we&#8217;ll get it done!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>October 26, 2019:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>With Chris &amp; Torri moving, we relocated my large, <a href=\"https:\/\/shop.snapon.com\/product\/KRA2496-Classic-96-Series-Roll-Cabs-with-Bulk-Section\/73%22-12-Drawer-Double-Bank-Classic-Series-96-Roll-Cab-with-Bulk-Section-(Red)\/KRA2496PBO\">KRA2496PBO style <\/a><\/strong><strong><em>Snap-On<\/em> tool box and tools from their garage to my basement. My thanks to Chris, Paul &amp; Pam for making this difficult move possible! Engine was <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>slightly<\/em><\/span> lean.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>November 30, 2019:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Thanks to our friend Don McClure, we&#8217;re purchasing his two <em>Doug-Nash<\/em> 5-speed transmissions from him over this winter for our &#8217;57. Without <em>Liberty<\/em> these old transmissions would have become unserviceable years ago!! They are also providing the retainer\/collar for our Chev bellhousing &amp; throwout bearing to replace the Ford retainer. &#8211; <em>Roger<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">July 13, 2020<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s no longer winter, but <em>Liberty&#8217;s Gears<\/em> delivered the new input shaft, input bearing retainer\/collar for a GM bellhousing &amp; I got the new <em>PacAloy<\/em> valve springs in the Chevelle and replaced the #2 exhaust pushrod which had slight wear on the rocker tip. Clearly the old springs were dead! Except the correct seat-belts and changing the oil &amp; filter the &#8217;57 is ready to go for 2020! &#8211; <em>Roger<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>February 29, 2020:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Today Chris got the Chevelle running with the new valve springs and it sounded good. An oil &amp; filter change, install the new <em>Crow<\/em> restraints and it will be ready to go for 2020!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>March 17, 2020:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Obviously the spread of the Coronavirus is going to impact the 2020 racing season throughout the nation, but we can get through this difficult time working together and being kind to one another! &#8211; <em>Roger<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>April 20, 2020:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>For the first time this year, I had Chris fire up our &#8217;57 and run it thru the gears on stands. And I wish to report to Paul that we&#8217;ve cured the slight oil leak that was dripping from the oil pressure sending line fitting!! So, if and when the 2020 season ever begins, we&#8217;re ready to get Chris behind the wheel to row the gears!!
