Notes
------------
Harold
was Killed-in-Action on his 20th birthday as a result of wounds received when a
WP (white-phosphorus) grenade detonated in the cockpit of OH-58A LOH helicopter
like the one pictured above. Through Harold's heroic sacrifice, he
directed the blast of the grenade towards himself in order to save the aircraft
and the scout pilot, CPT Paul Bennett.
Harold
had only recently transferred as a crewman in
Harold's
service and sacrifice reflects the highest standards of not only a soldier in
the United States Army, but a trooper in the Air Cavalry.
