A new national record was nearly set in T/F on Saturday in the cooler air (mid 70’s) and overcast skies. Simply ideal conditions for traction and horsepower.

I’ll be rooting for Mike Edwards in Pro Stock who qualified #1 today in the final session. I just got to pull for the old Modified Production champion! – Roger

That does it for the Northwest Nationals until next year. Mike Edwards was doing well until he cut an ugly light in the semifinal round against Jeg Coughlin. We saw some good racing today with some upsets but we had a two-lane race track and the spectators got a good show on Sunday! – Roger
