Newsletter comment: It appears that our military has become the focus for complete social reform. Meanwhile the Generals sit on their hands and say nothing. I have to wonder how much support for our military will be lost in the process? – Roger Young

  1. Roger Young says:

With recruitment and reenlistment numbers doing well, what is the panic to change standing policy during a time of war?

The military does have many pressing issues. Such as the rising suicide rate, treating PTSD, and providing the very best care for those who are recovering from battlefield trauma and injuries to name but a few.

    Just wondering…

  2. Roger Young says:

I’m glad to see that the AL and VFW are asking the same question I did; why now?

That’s simple. President Obama is pandering to a portion of his base and attempting to make good on at least one of his campaign promises! It’s simply for politics during a time his poll numbers are sinking.

How’s that for leadership during a time of war? He may not be able to control Pelosi or Reid, but he can direct our military leadership.

  3. Roger Young says:

After reading the latest headline: Mullen: Troops Who Balk at Change in Gay Service Policy Can Find Other Work – FoxNews – 2 Dec 10, I believe it is time for Chairman Mullen & SECDEF Gates to resign!

Over the past months both have been pointmen for Obama repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” And the official DoD news site has sadly become a forum for pushing that agenda with less news regarding the troops. All this during a time of war! I’m simply disgusted!

  4. Roger Young says:

It appears with the decision today by the Justice Dept. not to defend the anti-gay marriage law that the repealing of DADT was just a stepping stone to implement their pro gay-marriage agenda. We’ve all been duped !

  5. Bear says:

Today’s 9th Circuit decision demanding that DADT be lifted immediately in our military brings me to the following conclusion: Let California fight our current and future wars and we’ll supply the guns and ammo!

You’ve got to give the gay community credit, they are well organized and literally jamming their agenda down all our throats!!!

As a former soldier and veteran of Vietnam, I see little reason to defend this country these days… we’re being destroyed from within by groups that polarize our country!
