Newsletter suggestion: I say we put former military with administrative skills in charge of every VA facility with the full authority to hire/fire and start legal proceedings against ANY employee that games the system. That will put a fire under the rears of the federal employees. My beef is NOT with the doctors and nurses at VA, it is with those administrators that game the system for their own personal gains. – Roger
Speaking only for myself, I’ve had it with the continued betrayal of our veterans by our own government. In the movie above, “Coming Home,” much of the movie was about VA care for those coming back from Vietnam. The care has certainly improved thanks to dedicated doctor and nurses, but those in VA administration gaming the system to collect bonuses by cooking the enrollment books is criminal. I will not be satisfied until they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Only then will a culture of corruption in our federal government BEGIN to be reversed, but I see little chance of that with the attitude of the White House and in Congress. This is simply another glitch in the road for them, and will soon be forgotten.
