Tribute to DStormMom – Jackie Olsen

September 1, 2018:

We just learned today that a great military veteran advocate and personal friend of ours passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.

To Jackie Olsen, known as DStormMom to many of us across the nation, may you Rest In Peace and a personal slow-hand Salute for all you did for U.S. Veterans of all eras across our entire nation. You were a true Patriot and military veteran advocate that we will always remember and we cherish your many years of friendship! And our thoughts and prayers are with her daughter, Carolyn, may our Lord comfort you during this time of sorrow.

One Response to Tribute to DStormMom – Jackie Olsen

  1. Roger Young says:

Jackie and us hooked up on the old Veterans Bulletin Board on the Prodigy network back in the early 90’s. She started out focused on the health concerns of Desert Storm Veterans and expanded outward to include many veteran issues thereafter. She was active on a daily basis for many years exchanging information all from the goodness of her heart!

We finally met in person in 1998 and again in 2000 for Veterans Day which was an honor for us. She was a very special lady, so many hours of posting information for the benefit of military veterans across the nation. A true patriot!!
