After September 2026, I will no longer be hosting our entire website. This includes military news, the Silver Spur sites, nor our racing pages. After 27-years it will be time to close it all down. Be well. – Roger

It has been a busy week for Chris and myself taking advantage of the good weather this week.
Headers on both cars with the required header tether kits, valve trains setup for firing including new lash caps on the Chevelle, new slicks on both the hotrods, and a new Biondo shift timer in the Chevelle since timers – not delay boxes – are allowed in Pro Bracket.
We’ll soon warm them both up, let them cool and re-check the valve lash, change oil & oil filters, clean them up, and both cars will be ready for the strip!
We’ve also made a slight jetting change in both cars to kickoff the 2014 season. Of course with the ’57 with twin-660’s, that’s a bit more work then the single-Dominator on the Chevelle. And I can’t wait to try my new Long 5-speed, pistol-grip shifter in the ’57. After all the years of dealing with a T-handle, that’ll be different for this old guy.
We’re all looking forward to the 2014 racing season !
