Torri Runner-Up In Sportsman! – July 30, 2016

Torri was having an epic day at the track running her ’66 Tempest in Sportsman at Pacific Raceways!

During qualifying she cut a perfect .000 reaction time earning her a bye in the first round.

Throughout the evening she cut great lights and made it to the final round. There she ran a 12.122 on a 12.12 dial, but a very near perfect -.002 reaction time earned her a well deserved runner-up this evening! Chris & Paul did an outstanding job with the dial-ins throughout the long afternoon and evening!

We’re very proud of Torri, and we’re glad to see the new Holley carb upgrade working well. CONGRATULATIONS TORRI!

Torri with her Perfect Light & Runner-Up trophies! Well done!

Chris also had his Chevelle out in Pro Bracket. Prior to going out he added spring rate to his wheelie bars to keep the front end down and the car responded with a solid 10.52 @ 125 MPH. Unfortunately he went red by only .002-seconds in the first round ending his day. Anthony Hutchison took this photo of the better controlled launch:
