May 7th Swift Tools E.T. Races at Pacific Raceways

This Saturday Chris & Paul were out at Pacific Raceways. Chris was in Pro Bracket and went out in the 1st round when he was a tick early on the tree. We’ll also pull the Super Victor intake off his Chevelle and be going back to the Motown manifold. That experiment didn’t pay off.

Paul made it to the third round of Sportsman which was a rematch with Nick Douglas. This time Nick got the win light so these two Sportsman Champions have a friendly battle going this season!

After this race Casey Reed is now in 1st, Paul in 2nd, followed by Nick Douglas.

Chris was also helping Joe Loch who was running his Top Sportsman car, they managed to put together a 6.81 @ 200 MPH with Joe needing to pedal on the top end of the track. Joe’s Cavalier was running some strong numbers at 1/2 track! – Roger

    Excellent !!!

Chris will get em next time. Those red light starts are frustrating. Dan has had his share too, usually against guys he should have beaten, double frustrating.

Great job Paul!!! Going rounds is never easy. Having other strong drivers to compete against will make you both better. And have to work harder too. Keep your strong start to the season going.

Congrats to Joe too. That is a strong run!! That is a high quality piece of machinery and I bet he can get it into the fifties this season too. Is he running a 3 speed tranny? That is what I would assume if he runs mostly 1/4 mile.

Dan leaves for Dallas on Tuesday. 24 hour drive from our place in PA. Gonna be missing is buddy Ronnie a lot. New rods, rings and valve springs in the Musi 903.
