Post Race Update by Chris Young – September 18th 2026

August 15-16 we took the Wagon to Pacific Raceways looking to acquire enough points to try and make the team race for div 6 race in Spokane. We went a few rounds on Saturday, and then made it down to seven cars on Sunday with the car running very well as usual, and I was feeling pretty good about my driving.

We managed to accomplish making the team by the hair on our chin, finishing 18th overall after missing two races due to other obligations. On to Spokane for the finals!

We headed to the race with high expectations and entered every possible event we were eligible for. Weather unfortunately had other plans. The days were long and track time was minimal. We took 3 qualifying passes which went pretty well and headed into round 1 eliminations after the Gambler race on Friday was canceled due to weather. Round one we were .026 overall and went home with our tails between our legs after taking a .016 pack to the chin. Overall, I had a fun weekend hanging out and supporting our teammates.

PNWDRA did an amazing job this season and at Spokane supporting its racers. Want to thank my Family and friends for support and Handan Trailer for their support for the one race in Spokane.
