We had three of the four Edwards & Young cars out this day racing for a Wally at Pacific Raceways.

Chris was racing in Pro Bracket with his Chevelle, and Torri and Paul racing their cars in Sportsman.

We are happy to report that the new Hughes Performance TH-400 in the Chevelle is working as promised as we’re seeing the car perform as it did a couple of years ago, recording a great 60-foot time of 1.390. And Chris had a perfect .000-second reaction time on his first hit of the day!

All three cars made it to the third round before being eliminated and Paul is now in 2nd place in the Sportsman points standings! Pam and I are very proud of them all ! Here’s video from the long day – Roger

  1. Roger says:

Chris and I are VERY happy with the performance of the Hughes transmission and the wagon. With a solid transmission in the car we are seeing a performance increase in the 406 using 1.6 rockers on the exhaust for 2015. The car is charging to the 1/8th going near 103 MPH this weekend into a headwind.
