After September 2026, I will no longer be hosting our entire website. This includes military news, the Silver Spur sites, nor our racing pages. After 27-years it will be time to close it all down. Be well. – Roger

I remember these events well and they were a big success largely because they were well advertised on local radio and in our newspapers!
This is a lesson that the current ownership and management at Pacific Raceways could learn. To draw large crowds, they need to invest more in local ads. Even the NHRA national event each summer draws little local press coverage!
THERE IS STILL ALOT OF MONEY BEING SPENT ON RACING BUT NO REAL EFFORT IN MARKETING UP HERE. IS THAT BECAUSE OF LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OR IS BECAUSE IT’S NOT A PC SPORT IN OUR NEW GREENER, BETTER, NW. JUST A THOUGHT.
When Pacific Raceways can’t post pictures, videos, or race results (Sportsman Nationals) during the 2010 season, I call that sub par public relations!
Links to parts 4 & 5 are now up and running!
