One Response to Pacific Raceways Drag Race Fee Increases

  1. Roger Young says:

I guess this is a thank you for supporting the track in 2020?

I attempt to find something positive these days, but they are increasingly rare moments! I knew 2021 was not going to be an improvement over 2020 because so many enjoy the power they gained from Covid. Frankly, I think drag racing will be coming to an end in the not too distant future. Expenses continue to climb while Social Security, etc benefits are virtually stagnant. We’re seeing property taxes, gas prices, home heating oil, groceries grossly outstripping any cost of living increases which are based on what?

I go back to when SIR went to AHRA and it was bracket racing (no road course events, no national events) that kept them going for a couple of years, and the thanks we got for that support and personal contributions against constant neighbor lawsuits was ZERO!! Bracket racers have always taken it in the shorts from that facility and always will.

I’ve always supported SIR-PR, but my patience is at a limit!!
