Roger "Bear" Young served with the Silver Spurs as a Scout crew chief and Line Chief from Dec '69 through Nov '70. Upon his return to the "world" he served at Hunter AAF as a Cobra Periodic Inspection team leader. He founded the Spur website in Sept 1997.

    I don’t know if this thread is the right one to use but it concerns 911 (2012). I wonder what everyone is thinking about Libya? I had the honor to meet LTG Hal Moore a couple years ago in Skokie , Il . He was with Joe Galloway and I had the great honor to meet and chat with them and hear the General speak for a half hour. I wonder if he would have denied help to our people in Libya? Thanks for listening. Al La Grange , Rifles Squad Leader 68-70
