I’ve been keeping up with the progress of this brave soldier as he went through multiple surgeries and nearly lost his life. He was able to go home on Dec 22nd. His “can do” spirit is just one example of the courage of those serving in our Armed Forces today. While viewing the video click on “more information” to learn much more. Welcome Home Tyler!! – Bear

Concord soldier welcomes home his own heroes – WBTV – 7 January 2013
Bear, Thank God that our American Citizens finally recognize the sacrifices made by our Military people. I showed the video about Tyler to my Grandchildren. I explained to them that Tyler was protecting us when some very bad people hurt him but that he was brave and did not give up because he would not let the bad people win. They were cheered that everyone was cheering him all the way home. This is how my parents taught me about our veterans when I was just a child. Al, Rifles Squad Leader 68-70
